Family Survives As Their Car Collides With Train (PHOTO)

Pastor Segun Oderinde with a Lagos-based Pentecostal church, his wife, brother-in-law, and a child narrowly escaped death as their vehicle collided with a train.

At about 12 a.m. yesterday morning, Mr. Oderinde and his family members were driving a Toyota Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) along Agege-Abule Egba road when the incident occurred.

Recounting the ordeal, Mr. Oderinde expressed his gratitude to God for saving them, as they escaped death by whiskers.

They family were making their way back home from the Murtala Mohammed Airport where they picked up the in-law who had just returned from the United States of America.

"We were coming back from the airport when we collided with the train which was coming from the Oko-Oba end of the rail line.

"As we tried to avoid it, the train crushed some parts of our vehicle and dragged it along the tracks for some metres," Oderinde said.
